Elinor Nauen lives on the Lower East Side of New York (called by some Alphabet City) where she works as a poet, journalist, and editor. She edited two anthologies attesting to lifelong interests that began in her Sioux Falls, South Dakota, girlhood: Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend: Women Writers on Baseball and Ladies Start Your Engines: Women Writers on Cars and the Road.
